CHICAGO, IL – October 23, 2020  |  Tilia Holdings (“Tilia”), a Chicago-based private investment firm focused on business-to-business services for the food supply chain, is thrilled to announce that Jim Miller, previously President at Mérieux NutriSciences North America, has joined the team as an Operating Partner. 

With nearly 30 years of experience as a food industry executive, Jim Miller has a strong background in commercial strategy development and new product introductions. Jim was most recently President, North America for Mérieux NutriSciences, a global leader in food safety and quality solutions.   In his 6 years at Mérieux, he provided leadership and vision to 1,700 team members in 24 locations across the USA, Canada and Mexico, implementing numerous commercial, operational and employee initiatives.  Prior to joining Mérieux, Jim spent 22 years at Tate & Lyle, a leading global provider of ingredients to food and beverage industries, where he held roles across Sales, Marketing and Product Management.  Most notably, he was the Vice President of North American Sales for Specialty Food Ingredients and the Vice President of Global Product Management for Texturants. Jim’s commercial and general management experience will bring meaningful expertise that will benefit Tilia’s management partners.
